My Story

Hi! I’m Pamela Herndon, and Onward Accounting is my consulting practice focused on helping nonprofits and small businesses thrive. With over 10 years of experience, I’ve been working independently since 2020 to support mission-driven organizations to help them build clarity, stability, and confidence in their financial operations.

Why do I do this?

Because I care.

And I love it!

Tasks that might feel overwhelming or tedious to you are often my favorite part of the job, and, dare I say, fun! Bring on the messes, the data dump of transactions, the spreadsheet formatting. And don’t even get me started on how satisfying a good bank reconciliation can be!
